True quality and functionality

Softy is a name of our super soft woven brushed cotton blankets and plaids.

After the pattern is woven, it’s brushed mechanically by many small needles that “destroy” the cotton fibers and raise them. Therefore our blankets have this incredibly soft surface.  Then the woven material is “vacuumed cleaned” where the lose rests of the fibers are removed.

Our supplier in Germany is both Oeco-tex product class 1 and GOTS certified fabric. So it goes without saying that you can be confident in choosing our blanket for your baby or your home. Manufacturing is according to the stringent standards of the International Association for the Natural Textile Industry (IVN) and in compliance with the requirements for the Eco-Tex Standard Product Class 1. In other words: There are neither harmful colors nor measurable rets of heavy metal, fertilizers or anything else in our products.

Our baby blankets are made exclusively of certified cotton threads. They are natural-undyed or dyed with synthetic colors using the reactive method. The Oeco-tex certified yarn is 95% new fibers and 5% recycled cotton fibers. The organic certified yearn is 100% new cotton fibers.

Recycling: The warp threads are treated with biologically degradable covering.

All the blankets are produced and finished mechanically; it means that no chemicals are used in after treatment process.

Durability: They are fast to perspiration and saliva – which makes them perfect for the use in the nursery.

Care instructions:

Machine-wash at 30 degrees we advise a woolen program with a woolen detergent.  Woolen detergent will help the fibers to rise again after the wash. Tumble-dry, there are extra cm added to the blanket’s measurements to compensate the shrinkage.
