Attach the cord to your baby’s clothing (not to any loose items of clothing). Do not use the soother cord in the crib or cot. Check the full length of the soother cord before each use. Throw it away at the first sign of damage. Never lengthen the cord, never attach it with ribbons or laces, and never attach it to loose items of clothing. Your baby could be strangled.
