Vacuum packing machine Status Home 280 has three functions for storing different kinds of foods:

• automatic vacuum packing function without locking the lid. For dry and solid foods (dry meat, nuts, hard cheese). The machine vacuum seals the bag when it reaches the preset under pressure (- 750 mbar).
• manual vacuum packing function for moist and delicate foods (fresh meat, fruits and vegetables). With start and stop functions, the user stops the pump before the liquid is absorbed into the vacuum channel or before the food item gets crushed.
• container function for vacuum sealing Status vacuum containers and other accessories (universal lids, jug). Ideal for storing soups and sauces.

Home 280 is an upgraded version of Status’s bestseller vacuum sealer HomeVac 500. Improved features include a liquid trap with a sensor and an overheating sensor. Liquid trap with sensor provides additional security when vacuum sealing moist foods. The overheating sensor stops the machine to cool down when needed.
